Playing Golf in Kenya is an unforgottable experience with many courses at an altitude of more that 1500M above sea level(5000ft) truly giving the golfers an additional about10% yardage to the stroke.

Overview

It is mandatory to play with a caddie in Kenya.They are friendly and he or she will not only carry your golfbag but will also find your balls in the bush, if need be and some are experieced and if you allow them, the caddie will also help you with the club selection or will show you the putting line.

Itinerary

Upon arrivla at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and be transfered to the Windsor Golf and Country Club.

Day 2 :
NAIROBI

This day will be spent in Nairobi at the golf Club palying golf
Dinner and Overnight at Windsor Golf and Country Club.

Day 3 :
NAIVASHA

After your sumptuous buffet breakfast,check out and proceed to the Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.
Dinner and overnight at Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.

Day 5 :
NAKURU

After breakfast and the morning gamedrive, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
After lunch, you will enjoy evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 6 :
NAKURU

After breakfast, leave for Nakuru Golf Club. Return to the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon gamedrive after lunch.

Day 7 :
ABERDARES

After breakfast, leave for the Aberdare Country Club.
You take afternoon for leisure or a round of golf for those who will have the energy to.

Day 9 :
MOMBASA

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Catch flight to Mombasa.
Upon arrival pick up and transfer to Leisure Beach Resort.

Spend the day golfing.The course has an 18-hole golf course for the golfers

Day 11 :
MOMBASA

After breakfast, rest of the day will be at leisure, either playing golf or just relaxing by the poolside.
Dinner and overnight at Leisure Lodge Beach and Golf Resort.

After breakfast, catch your flight to Nairobi for flight home.

Frequently asked Questions

How fit do I need to be to do a safari?

Any person can do these safaris, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will to, you can.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay certain amount for both. Also, hot water facility could be free at lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on safari camps?

No. There are no ATMs. You will have to draw enough cash in Nairobi. There are a number of ATMs in these cities.

Is there internet access?

Yes. Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet deep in the jungle is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.
